Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of our coastal paradise, where the rhythmic sounds of the ocean waves provide a soothing backdrop to your stay.

Bedrooms

Indulge in comfort and relaxation in our beautifully designed bedrooms, each featuring luxurious five-star hotel beds, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Every room comes with its own private ensuite for added convenience and privacy. Furnished with elegant pieces and adorned with stunning artwork from local Isle of Wight artists, these serene spaces provide a restful retreat where you can truly relax and recharge.

The Hue Room

The largest of the four bedrooms, the master suite is exquisitely styled in sea blues and neutral tones for a complete sense of relaxation. A sumptuous superking bed finished in crisp white Egyptian Cotton linen invites you to relax and unwind. The large ensuite bathroom features a luxurious waterfall shower and a deep bath.

The bed is overlooked by three beautiful Harriet Hue prints: Seagrove Bay; Seaview Beach and the Bembridge Lifeboat. A further offering (Compton Beach) adorns the adjacent wall. Renowned for her bold and vibrant use of colour, Hue’s artwork employs a dynamic blend of abstract expressionism and modern techniques. Working primarily in oils, her work spans portraiture, still life, landscapes, and more recently, seascapes.

The Whitmarsh Room

Drawing on the natural hues of the sea, the Whitmarsh Room reflects a palette of marine blues and neutral tones for an embodiment of coastal calm. A sumptuous deep-pocket sprung superking (or twin) bed finished in Egyptian cotton bedding invites you to relax after the day’s activities.

Instantly recognisable, Susannah Whitmarsh’s contemporary block colour stripe paintings command the wall behind the bed: A Cowes Stroll; Seaview and Totland Bay. Whitmarsh simplifies the landscape, capturing the natural lay of the land and flow of the sea, working in bold colour to create vibrant, modern paintings.

The Beken Room

Employing more than a century of family tradition, Beken of Cowes, synonymous with yachting photography, has been capturing the British and international yachting scene since 1888. A pair of sumptuous superking (or twin) beds finished in Egyptian Cotton bedding invite you to drift off in comfort.

The decor is complemented by four classic Beken of Cowes black and white photographs: Brittania 1899; Moonbeam IV 1920; Westward and Velsheda 1935 and Velsheda 1934.

Employing more than a century of family tradition, Beken of Cowes has been capturing the British and international yachting scene since 1888. Today, the Beken of Cowes Marine Photography Gallery is popular with yachtsmen from all over the world, who enjoy Beken’s historic photographs as well as modern colour shots of modern racing yachts.

The Samuelson Room

Inspired by the nautical palette of sea, sand and salty breezes, the Samuelson Room evokes a sense of luxurious tranquillity. The five-star hotel beds can be arranged as a superking or twin beds.

You can almost smell the sea air drifting from the Becky Samuelson prints: Bembridge Beach and Lifeboat Station; Seagrove Bay; Seaview Beach. Inspired by the island’s coastline and landscape, Samuelson principally works in oil, acrylic and watercolour to create charming pieces that dance with light and colour.
